Primary Responsibilities:
Functions as a staffing specialist as well as a regional program manager for
leadership and learning. Additional roles as a generalist in a variety of Human
Resources activities such as comp & benefits or general office administration
may be added.
Position focuses on the following areas, but not limited to.
Fully functioned staffing specialist

Experienced in direct sourcing via personal network as well as systems such as
Linked In or Face book
·
Becomes a super user for Applicant Tracking System and other recruiting related
tools
·
Works with hiring manager(s) to document requirements of job openings as
required opening requisition(s).
·
Determines appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting positions
·
Promotes the company image to candidates and external service providers
·
Surfaces candidates and develops networks of people and processes to support a
strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
·
Conducts employment background checks.
·
Works with agencies, recruiting contractors and/or internet website
representatives in the course of conducting employment advertising campaigns
·
Facilitate New Hire Orientation and New Hire process
·
Maintaining Japan HR home page / SharePoint
Regional Program Manager for leadership and learning and others
·
Drives leadership and employee development training programs and provides
feedback to corporate team
·
Facilitates internal management training and performance management
·
Conducts research and analyses on assigned projects – need some analytical
skills
·
Provide General assistance and administration work for the office administration
Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Japanese and English,
as well as influencing and inter-personal skills.
Be a strong liaison with the corporate or other regional offices.
Demonstrating strong initiative, enthusiasm and teamwork spirits in a dynamic
and fast-paced environment is critical success factors. Must be proactive,
flexible, highly organized and have a sense of urgency. Able to work
independently, to prioritize multi-tasks and to exercise sound judgment based on
solid analyses. Full proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Having SAP or similar HR database systems’ experience is preferred.
Typically
requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience. Exercises judgment in
selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions. Needs a project management
skill. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Receives little
instructions on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments and
projects. Determines and develops recommendations to solutions. Work is
evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met. Works on cross
functional projects. Guides more junior peers with aspects of their job.
Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. |
